Letter from the editor:

Yes, folks, It seems impossible but a day like today, March 18 , I wrote my first post with which I inaugurated something more than just a fashion blog , I could say an illusion. It would be unfair to say something like "It looked like it was yesterday when ..." because the truth is that this year so much has happened .....The truth is that I do not know where to start, so much what I have to say and thank you first confess that I'm running out of words. Who was going to tell me that a mere hobby of passion would end by dedicating myself to it body and soul? I throw a small and brief look back and I get vertigo literally, I see the entire trajectory of my work and review all achieved merits and I get scared, I could not repeat it; most of you may think I'm exaggerating, obviously you would have to be me to understand everything that I am feeling. By nature I tend to rush but I realize that to do something big must have a solid foundation to go by,each time I am more faithful to that ant taking steps rather than giant strides, but always taking the risk and daring as present in my daily life. Probably one of my greatest strengths is the inconsistency that characterizes both me, I'm never comfortable or satisfied with anything, I maintain my position that a man with no goals in life, comfortable with himself, is a failure; possibly many of my goals may be utopian, but I firmly believe in self-improvement, in the constant struggle and although I do not know for sure what I want, there is a deep feeling in myeto prove myself, to advance , not to give up even though sometimes, unfortunately, I do. I can not deny that luck has set me on more than one occasion but I must confess that I have searched it, you can not be sitting watching life go expecting to be served on a platter your big break. Of the umpteen thousand fashion blogs in the world that satisfies me to know that I'm slowly gaining a place in the blogosphere, we are not well known today, tomorrow it's likely that either, but what will happen day after tomorrow?, What's next? ..... All small but great achievements or goals that I am doing with The Queens Also Fart (interviews, friendships, recognition, and of course, followers) are a small indicator that maybe I'm not doing it as bad ;I personally think or like to believe that  The Queens Also Fart has something that many other fashion blogs have not, I can not tell if it's personality, character or what, sometimes I delude myself, no, indeed, encouraged me and almost I compare or treat my blog as a fashion publication, in short, try to do things the best I can and always true to my "style" and as I think it should be a good fashion blog. I hope not giving you much time stolen, now comes the most important part of this kind of letter: my most humble thanks, thanks to all who follow us, thanks to you share our content daily, thanks to your always constructive criticism , thanks those who support me personally keep doing one of the things that I like, thanks to all the people that have discovered a way me and my work, thanks to growing firms and designers who count on us , if something The Queens also Fart has grown  is thanks to you!
Así es amigos ,parece mentira pero tal día como hoy , 18 de Marzo , escribía mi primer post con el que inauguraba algo más que un simple blog de moda , una ilusión se podría decir. Sería injusto decir algo como "Parecía que era ayer cuando..." , por que lo cierto es que durante este año han pasado tantas cosas..... La verdad es que no sé ni por donde empezar , es tanto lo que tengo que decir y agradecer que por primera vez confieso que me estoy quedando sin palabras.¿Quién me iba a decir a mi que de un mero pasatiempo por pasión iba a terminar dedicándome a ello en cuerpo y alma? Lanzo una pequeña y breve mirada al pasado y literalmente me entra vértigo, veo toda la trayectoria de mi trabajo y reviso todos los méritos logrados y me asusto, no sabría repetirlo ; quizás la mayoría de vosotros penséis que estoy exagerando , es obvio que para llegar a hacerse una diminuta idea de lo que siento hay que estar viviendo lo que yo. Por naturaleza tiendo a precipitarme pero soy consciente de que para hacer algo grande hay que tener unos cimientos sólidos a los que atenerse , cada vez soy más fiel a eso de dar pasos de hormiga en vez de zancadas de gigante , pero siempre teniendo el riesgo y el atrevimiento como algo presente en mi día a día. Seguramente una de mis mayores virtudes es el inconformismo que tanto me caracteriza , nunca estoy a gusto o satisfecho con nada , mantengo mi posición de que un hombre sin metas en la vida , a gusto consigo mismo , es un hombre fracasado; posiblemente muchas de mis metas pueden resultar utopías , pero creo firmemente en la auto-superación , en la lucha constante y aunque no conozco con certeza lo que busco o lo que quiero , hay un profundo sentimiento en mi de demostrar lo que valgo , de avanzar , de no darme por vencido a pesar de que en ocasiones , por desgracia , lo hago. No puedo negar que la suerte no se ha fijado en mi en más de una ocasión pero también he de confesar que la he buscado , uno no puede estar sentado viendo como transcurre la vida esperando a que le sirvan en bandeja su gran oportunidad. De los tropecientos mil blogs de moda que hay en el mundo me satisface saber que poco a poco  me voy ganando un sitio en la blogosfera ; hoy no seremos muy conocidos , mañana lo más probable es que tampoco , pero , ¿pasado?, ¿qué pasará pasado?.....Todos los logros o pequeñas pero grandes metas que estoy cumpliendo con The Queens also Fart (entrevistas , amistades , reconocimientos , y por supuesto , seguidores) son un pequeño indicador de que quizás no estoy haciendo las cosas tan mal; personalmente pienso o me gusta creer que The Queens also Fart , tiene algo que otros muchos blogs de moda no tienen , no sé decirte si es personalidad , carácter o qué; a veces me ilusiono , no , es más , me motivo y casi comparo o trato a mi blog como una publicación de moda; en fin, procuro hacer las cosas lo mejor que puedo y siempre fiel a mi "estilo" y a como creo que debería ser un buen blog de moda. Espero no haberos robado mucho tiempo , ahora viene la parte más importante de esta especie de carta : mis más humildes agradecimientos ; gracias a todos los que nos seguís , gracias a los que compartís a diario nuestros contenidos , gracias a vuestras críticas siempre constructivas , gracias los que personalmente me apoyáis y empujáis a seguir haciendo una de las cosas que más me gustan , gracias a todas las personas que de cierto modo me han descubierto a mi y a mi trabajo , gracias a cada vez más las firmas y diseñadores que cuentan con nosotros;¡ si algo a crecido The Queens also Fart es gracias a vosotros!

I'm here! The truth is that I'm like a boomerang, although it seems that I'm gone , I always go back. Sorry again my absence in the blog, but looking on the bright side, this short trip has been good for me because I return with a lot of great posts that you will love.
¡Ya estoy aquí! Lo cierto es que soy como un boomerang , por mucho que parezca que me he ido , siempre vuelvo. Siento de nuevo mi ausencia en el blog , aunque mirándolo por el lado bueno , me ha venido bien esta breve desconexión por que vengo con un carro a mis espaldas cargado de posts que seguro que os van a encantar.

If there's one thing I like within the scope of the fashion world is open up to new horizons and discover new brands, designers and artists who literally leave me wordless, so it's always a pleasure to show you my findings. The truth is that this month I can not complain, you do not become idea how much so great stuff I'm finding , most of them by chance. The last one? The great Sicilian designer's signature, Fausto Puglisi that bears his name.
Si hay una cosa que me gusta dentro del ámbito del mundo de la moda es abrirme a nuevos horizontes y descubrir nuevas marcas , diseñadores y artistas que me dejen literalmente con la boca abierta ; por lo que siempre es un placer mostraros mis hallazgos. La verdad es que este mes no me puedo quejar , no os hacéis idea de la cantidad de cosas tan geniales que estoy encontrando , la mayoría de ellas por pura casualidad. ¿La última? La estupenda firma del diseñador Siciliano , Fausto Puglisi que lleva su nombre.

Pero su gran momento llega ahora , con la fundación de su propia firma , Fausto Puglisi, con la que tan solo con un par de colecciones presentadas durante la semana de la moda de Milán , me ha dejado maravillado.

The brand concept created by Fausto Puglisi and inspired in Italy, in wealth and Baroque architecture, in the Roman gladiators and the American star system, combines the best of high society and the ultimate luxury with popular elements giving rather than to genuine parts as are his designs have already conquered experts to herself as Anna Dello Russo, who seems declared fan of the designer.
El concepto de marca creado por Fausto Puglisi e inspirado en Italia , en la riqueza y arquitectura del Barroco , en los gladiadores Romanos y en el sistema de estrellas estadounidense, combina lo mejor de la alta sociedad y el lujo por excelencia con elementos más populares dando lugar a auténticas piezas de excepción como lo son sus diseños que ya han conquistado a expertos en la materia como a la mismísima Anna Dello Russo , quien parece declararse fan incondicional del diseñador.

Aunque ahora mismo deberíamos estar hablando de su colección primavera-verano 2013 , me gustaría adelantarme un poco y presentaros las propuestas de su colección para el otoño-invierno que viene , puesto que es personalmente con la que yo he descubierto la firma:

As you can see yourselves, Fausto merges the effect "deluxe" of the embroidered with rhinestones for a touch more urbanite, from street level and punk, as is the popular "tartan" print. Personally, I do not know if I'm right and maybe I'm wrong but the inspiration and the essence of this collection moved me to the Imperialist Russia, as characterized by its wealth, certainly in a much more contemporary version created by the designer. Mix of textures and prints, dresses with XXL openings, and a very eccentric female air form the pillars of this collection. Are we in front of the new Gianni Versace or Ricardo Tisci? Anyway, I love, in  The Queens Also Fart we are waiting anxiously forthcoming proposals!
Como vosotros mismos podéis comprobar , Fausto fusiona el efecto "deluxe" de los bordados con pedrería con un toque mucho más urbanita , de a pie de calle y punk ,como lo es el popular print "tartan". Personalmente , no sé si estaré en lo cierto y tal vez me equivoque pero la inspiración y la esencia de esta colección me traslada a la Rusia Imperialista , tan caracterizada por su opulencia; desde luego en una versión mucho más contemporánea creada por el diseñador. Mix de texturas y estampados, vestidos con aperturas XXL, y un aire femenino muy excéntrico forman los pilares de esta colección. ¿Estaremos ante el nuevo Gianni Versace o Ricardo Tisci? En fin , me encanta , ¡en The Queens also Fart ya estamos esperando ansiosos sus próximas propuestas!

S/S 2013 Trends: The Leather

Always in the public eye, improper of this season for many, leather turns once again to star in some of the best collections presented on runways around the world for spring-summer 2013.
Siempre en el ojo del huracán , impropio de esta temporada para muchos, el cuero vuelve una vez más a protagonizar algunas de las mejores colecciones presentadas en pasarelas de todo el mundo para esta primavera-verano 2013.

Skeptics take literally nails to hear in the same sentence the words "leather" and "summer", think that both terms are completely incompatible within the concept of "fashion". They share the idea that wearing fur garments during the summer is stifling and misleading with respect to high temperatures during these seasons are covered with fur is inhumane. Para empezar , no es mi caso puesto que yo vivo en España y estoy acostumbrado a gozar de excelentes temperaturas durante el verano pero en gran parte de Europa y otros continentes , las temperaturas de sus veranos son más elevadas que durante el resto del año pero siguen siendo demasiado frescas por lo que el resguardo que aporta una prenda de cuero ,que ni te abriga demasiado ni te deja a la intemperie, es el idóneo.

Hello everyone! Starting this month we will be introducing us squarely in the collections and trends for this spring / summer 2013, as I said once, although they now are showing collections for the autumn / winter 2013-2014, I do not like to anticipate events, since they still have just come to shop the new collections and we're already getting dizzy with the following collections. So gradually we discover and seeing that lie this great new season.

A partir de este mes vamos a ir introduciéndonos de lleno en las colecciones y tendencias de esta primavera/verano 2013 , como he comentado alguna vez ,a pesar de que ahora mismo se están presentando las colecciones de la temporada otoño/invierno 2013-2014 ,a mi no me gusta adelantar acontecimientos , puesto que todavía apenas han llegado las nuevas colecciones a tienda y ya nos están mareando con las siguientes. Así que poco a poco vayamos descubriendo y viendo que nos depara esta nueva y estupenda temporada.

TQAF Oscar´s 2013 Awards Choice

Good night! We forget for a moment all that has to do now with fashion weeks around the world and focus on another hot topic, the Academy Awards 2013.
¡Buenas noches! Nos olvidamos por un momento de todo lo que tenga que ver ahora mismo con semanas de la moda alrededor del mundo y nos centramos en otro tema de actualidad; los Premios Oscar 2013.

Although I will not stop much in this event due to the number of publications that have hung all about styling rehearsals of the show, the Oscar´s night is one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year and commented so yes I am going to tell it which has been my favorite look of the night and why.
A pesar de que no me voy a detener mucho en este suceso debido a la cantidad de publicaciones que ya han colgado todos sus repasos acerca de los estilismos de la gala , la noche de los Oscar es una de las celebraciones más esperadas y comentadas del año por lo que sí os voy a comunicar cual ha sido mi look favorito de la noche y porqué.

No sé si estoy siendo realmente objetivo la verdad , por que adoro a esta actriz ya desde hace mucho tiempo , y me alegra muchísimo saber que se vuelve a casa con su primer , y espero que no último, Oscar bajo el brazo. El estilismo escogido por la actriz , completamente novedoso , ha dado bastante de que hablar ; aunque Anne es de esa clase de mujeres que está guapa con todo lo que se pone , he de decir que su nuevo corte de pelo le favorece bastante y mantiene su feminidad  , cosa que no siempre resulta así con un peinado como este. En esta ocasión la actriz no recurre a una de sus firmas favoritas , Valentino , con la que mantiene una relación excelente con el diseñador fundador, Valentino Garavani y pisa fuerte en la alfombra roja con un original diseño color rosa palo firmado por Prada , abierto con un corte muy sensual por la espalda que no ha gustado a todo el mundo , pero a mi personalmente me ha conquistado. El impresionante collar de diamantes de la marca Tiffany & Co caía por la espalda de la actriz haciendo todavía más atractivo y vistoso su look. Muchos habréis puesto el grito en el cielo con mi elección pero no solo estamos hablando del vestido sino del estilismo en general ; y en ese aspecto Hathaway gana con creces a sus compañeros de profesión aunque aún así sigo siendo firme defensor de su vestido.
