They have gone from being little more than known among their closest friends, to join the most coveted fashion week of Spain. They want to be heard, and thanks to EGO, the project sponsored by Samsung, which gives the opportunity to debut on the catwalk of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid to young designers, they have begun to turn their wishes into reality.
Han pasado de ser poco más que conocidos entre sus más allegados, a formar parte de la semana de la moda más cotizada de España . Ellos se quieren hacer oír, y gracias a EGO, el proyecto apadrinado por Samsung, que concede la oportunidad de debutar sobre la pasarela de Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid a jóvenes diseñadores, han empezado a convertir sus deseos en realidad.
In its latest edition, EGO put us again in contact with faces that we had more than checked, at the same time we discovered completely new ones; because you should know who are the renovators of Spanish fashion, not wait for the press in other countries speak to us of them. Here its new members and their last proposals:
En su última edición, EGO nos volvió a poner en contacto con rostros que teníamos más que fichados, a la par que nos descubrió otros completamente nuevos; y es que a los renovadores de la moda española hay que conocerlos, no esperar a que la prensa de otros países nos hable de ellos. Virginia Vallejo
Harvest of the European Institut of Design of Madrid (IED), thanks to her collection, marked by the integration of Samsung devices in her designs, won the "Samsung EGO Innovation Project" award. Her explosive and colorful sportswear, which is based on the use of stretch fabrics such as lycra, bathed in crystal sconces, gave the starting signal to EGO day.
Cosecha del Instituto Europeo de Diseño de Madrid (IED), gracias a su colección, marcada por la integración de dispositivos Samsung en sus diseños, se alzó con el premio "Samsung EGO Innovation Project". Su explosiva y pintoresca ropa deportiva, que se basa en la utilización de tejidos elásticos como la licra, bañados por apliques de cristales, dieron el pistoletazo de salida a jornada de EGO.

All eyes were upon him, he came to be the EGO Talent of the previous edition, and his latest proposals were the most anticipated. Its mix of textures and materials not leave anyone indifferent, neither did his neo-romantic style, which again surprised the audience with a collection that knows no gender.
Todas las miradas estaban sobre él, venía de ser el EGO Talent de la edición anterior, y sus últimas propuestas eran de las más esperadas. Su mix de texturas y materiales no dejó indiferente a nadie, tampoco lo hizo su estilo neo-romántico, que volvió a sorprender al público con una colección que no entiende de sexos.

Cuando la sobriedad se vuelve agresiva, así es el próximo otoño-invierno del diseñador, que nos daba a conocer el pasado mes de febrero a su particular tropa de guerrilleros; enfundados de manera contrapuesta entre tejidos elásticos muy cómodos y llevaderos, convertidos en largas túnicas que hacen perder parte de esa ligereza que su material les aporta, pero que gozan de un movimiento y caída, en pocas palabras, deslumbrante.

Also suckled by the IED, the designer was proclaimed the EGO Talent in its latest edition. Her fashion knows no boundaries, experimenting with materials and construction techniques is her strong point. No matter if it's plastic, paper, velcro or thin muslin, she plays to create. The absence of color in the collection brings a touch almost theatrical to her work.
También amamantada por el IED, se proclamó la diseñadora por excelencia de EGO en su última edición. Su moda no entiende de límites, la experimentación con materiales y técnicas de confección es su punto fuerte. No importa si es plástico, papel, velcro o una fina muselina, ella juega a crear. La ausencia de color en la colección aporta un toque casi teatral a su obra.

44 Store presented one of those collections that don´t seem from EGO; under the slogan "A New Religion", the brand caused a sensation with its unique "sect", creating not only a collection to praise, but a whole lifestyle that is willing to follow. The purity and personality of red color permeates its chaotic black & white making its proposals undeniably attractive.
44 Store presentó una de esas colecciones, que cuanto menos, parecen de EGO; bajo el lema "A New Religion", la marca causó sensación con su singular "secta", creando ya no solo una colección para alabar, sino todo un estilo de vida que se hace deseoso de seguir. La pureza y personalidad del rojo vivo impregna sus caóticas propuestas black&white haciéndolas innegablemente atractivas.

Classy, exquisite and powerful wildly, is the perfect definition for the color palette that beautify the latest collection of the designer, a collection with touches very "deluxe", extremely sensual, with an almost decadent air, which presents a series of best-Selles that more than one would take his hands to his head with. Its rich fabrics and embroidery, along with the delicacy of its prints, add a +1 to the collection.
Con clase, exquisita y potente a rabiar, es la definición perfecta para la paleta de colores que embellecen la última colección de la diseñadora, una colección con toques muy "deluxe", extremadamente sensual, con aires casi decadentes, que nos presenta una serie de best-selles por los que más de un se llevaría las manos a la cabeza. Sus ricos tejidos y bordados, junto con la delicadeza de sus estampados, suman un +1 a la colección.

His boys and girls have a cool looking, are those comrades who you always envy cause be able to do a simple basic garment, your "crush of the week" and those, that secretly, you tried to imitate. His minimalist collection, takes the necessary strength to be coaxed with color; relying mostly with monochrome looks, you would want to wear without any alteration.
Sus chicos y chicas tienen rollazo, son esos compañeros a los que siempre envidiaste por poder hacer de un simple básico, tu "crush of the week", y a los que, a escondidas, intentabas imitar. Su minimalista colección, cobra la fuerza necesaria como para hacerse de rogar gracias al color; contando en su mayoría con looks monocromos, que uno querría llevar sin alteración alguna.
Sheila Pazos
For a few minutes, Sheila Pazos opened to the public the doors of her Wonderland; say that its essence lies in the "mix and match" is to stay fairly short, the way in which she plays with color, patterns, fabrics and materials are strong words. Her universe is parallel, and although our rational self resists, our irrational self is dazzled by her proposals.
Durante escasos minutos, Sheila Pazos abrió al público las puertas de su país de las maravillas; decir que su esencia recae en el "mix and match", es quedarse bastante corto, la forma con la que ella juega con el color, estampados, tejidos y materiales, son palabras mayores. Su universo es paralelo, y aunque nuestro yo racional se resiste, nuestro yo irracional está encandilado por sus propuestas.

The candy tones bathe the collection as sport and casual of the young designer; but the true spirit and lethal weapon in his collection are his tissues, reinventing the basics so amazing that you neither recognize them. His renewed vintage cuts and aesthetics are pluses.
Los tonos candy bañan la colección tan sport y casual del joven diseñador; pero el verdadero espíritu y arma letal de su colección son sus tejidos, con ellos reinventa los básicos de tal manera que ni les reconozcamos. Sus renovados cortes y estética vintage, son puntos a favor.

It was the most expected collection, everyone talked about him during the EGO day. Straddling Spain and India, his latest collection represents the intersection between the two cultures. Appropriating the folklore of each, the collection, called "The Gypsy Army", shows us how great can be the symbiosis between different cultures and races, because like his collection, all that something can result is even more beauty and wealth.
Era la colección más esperaba, todo el mundo hablaba de él durante la jornada de EGO. A caballo entre España e India, su última colección supone el cruce entre ambas culturas. Apropiándose del folclore de cada una de ellas, la colección, llamada "The Gypsy Army", nos hace ver lo fantástica que puede llegar a ser la simbiosis entre diferentes culturas y razas, pues al igual que su colección, lo único que algo así puede ocasionar es aún más belleza y riqueza.
