Retro style, prints with geometric and floral motifs ,  suits and pants and handbags; Would you be able to guess if I'm talking about the collection of Prada or Miu Miu this Fall / Winter 2012-2013 with these signs that you I gave?
Estilo retro , prints con motivos geométricos y florales , trajes de chaqueta y pantalón y bolsos de mano ; ¿Seríais capaces de adivinar si estoy hablando de la colección de Prada o de Miu Miu de este Otoño/Invierno 2012-2013 con estas señas que os he dado?

Honestly with the little that I said I would not be able to tell whether we are talking about Prada or Miu Miu ..... I know it is difficult to design two collections at the same time to two different brands, but Miuccia (creative director of both signatures) and has much experience I think this season has gotten a little leg .... Sinceramente con lo poco que os he dicho yo no sería capaz de diferenciar si estamos hablando de Prada o de Miu Miu .....Sé que es difícil diseñar dos colecciones al mismo tiempo para dos marcas distintas , aunque Miuccia (directora creativa de ambas firmas) ya tiene mucha experiencia pienso que en esta temporada ha metido un poco la pata ....Dejadme que os explique , si os habéis fijado bien el estilo de las dos colecciones que Prada y Miu Miu nos han presentado de la mano de Miuccia Prada son prácticamente del mismo estilo ; inspiraciones , cortes y prints son extremadamente similares como si se tratase de la misma colección presentada en dos desfiles distintos...

El concepto que tenía el grupo Prada para Miu Miu era el de crear una nueva firma que captase la atención de un público más joven y con precios más asequibles si los comparamos con los de su hermana mayor , Prada; pero esta temporada se les ha ido de las manos , no creo que el tipo de clienta de Prada sea la misma que de la de Miu Miu  , a parte de que pienso que la colección presentada por Miu Miu no representa para nada a la mujer Miu Miu , seguro que ninguna chica joven mataría por tener un conjunto completo como los que ha presentado al firma en pasarela.

Thumbs up to Davidelfin

A collection ten to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Spanish firm, could not be otherwise ... Honestly I've never been much a fan of Spanish fashion but thanks to artists like David Delfin do that every time this hoard my attention more and more . I feel really proud to have been able to witness in person during this 2012-2013 MFW parade so special that the designer David Delfin was prepared to honor the tenth anniversary of the Cibeles. What the fuck how I managed to sneak into this parade? As you will see I owe it all to the contest organized by Unico & Cool.com and everyone who helped me by voting for my picture on Facebook for the end lift me to victory and get the opportunity to choose from a number of parades this latest edition of MFW for attend one of them (I was sure I wanted to go to Davidelfin).
Una colección diez para celebrar el décimo aniversario de la firma Española , no podría ser de otro modo...Sinceramente nunca he sido demasiado fan de la moda Española pero gracias a artistas como David Delfín hacen que cada vez esta acapare mi atención más y más. Me siento realmente orgulloso de haber podido presenciar en persona durante esta MFW 2012-2013 el desfile tan especial que el diseñador David Delfín había preparado para homenajear su décimo aniversario sobre la pasarela Cibeles. ¿Qué cómo coño he conseguido colarme en este desfile? Pues veréis todo se lo debo al concurso que organizó Unico&Cool.com  y a todos los que me ayudaron  votando por mi foto en Facebook para al final alzarme con la victoria y conseguir la oportunidad de elegir  entre una serie de desfiles de esta última edición de MFW para asistir a uno de ellos (lo tenía claro , yo quería ir al de Davidelfin).

¿Cómo superar el show que dio para su anterior desfile en el que hubo un concierto en directo protagonizado por Alaska , Mario Vaquerizo y Bimba Bosé? La clave del éxito para presentar por lo más alto su excelente colección fue en forma de corto cinematográfico , protagonizado en exclusiva por la gran amiga del diseñador , Bimba Bosé , y en el que aparecían también otras amistades de David como Topacio Fresh , Alaska y su marido , Mario Vaquerizo , o la actriz Rosi de Palma . El corto nos muestra a Bimba , quien iba a desfilar para Davidelfin, olvidándose completamente del desfile hasta recibir la llamada de David , y ahí es cuando Bimba sale corriendo no ,  montada en su Mercedes-Benz y atraviesa todo Madrid encontrándose múltiples obstáculos y personajes famosos para conseguir llegar a tiempo al desfile.¡Aquí os dejo antes de seguir hablando del desfile con el corto titulado "RUN A WAY" y  protagonizado por Bimba para que os hagáis una idea de lo genial que fue todo !

Si la presentación fue un éxito , la colección no se quedó atrás para nada , tanto las prendas de caballero como de mujer tenían un corte impoluto que derrochaba elegancia y originalidad , a primera vista , cuando algunos modelos salían a la pasarela , su look podía llegar a parecer muy sencillo pero en el momento que pasaba por delante de tus narices te dabas cuenta de la originalidad del patrón y del corte , sin duda David tiene el arte de hacer de un básico de fondo de armario algo nunca visto. Otra cosa que me quedó sin palabras fueron los accesorios , sobre todo en cuanto a bolsos se refiere ; masculinos , femeninos , daba igual todos eran geniales , originales , bonitos ,  y prácticos ; todos ellos fueron diseñados por Pelayo Díaz Zapico quien ya nos quedó con la boca abierta con los bolsos que diseño para el último desfile de Davidelfin , pues esta vez más y mejor.

Today when I visited for the umpteenth time my inbox I found an email that  made ​​my day perfect, this is the French firm Kenzo has done it again with a capsule collection for the brand Vans California Fall / Winter 2012-2013 . Do you remember that I told you about the collection on the spot "Must Have: Vans for Kenzo" which presented this last spring / summer ?
¡Buenas noches!¡ Ante el insomnio  nada mejor que un poco de bloging ! Hoy cuando he visitado por enésima vez mi bandeja de entrada he descubierto un correo que me ha alegrado el día , se trata de la firma francesa Kenzo que ha vuelto a hacer una colección cápsula con la marca californiana Vans para este Otoño/Invierno 2012-2013. ¿Os acordáis que os  hablé acerca de la colección  en el spot "Must Have: Vans for Kenzo" que presentaron esta Primavera/Verano pasada?

Si para su colaboración anterior presentaron un único estampado para el mítico modelo de Vans "New Era" en una amplia gama de colores y combinaciones en esta ocasión han diseñado dos estampados , el primero  (demasiado veraniego para mi gusto) se trata de un print a rayas que recuerda demasiado a los estampados que usan para los toldos y las sombrillas que no me acaba de convencer , en cambio el otro estampado que han diseñado no me gusta , me encanta , a pesar de ser un print floral el diseño y la disposición de los detalles florales parecen a primera vista ser de encaje (un clásico invernal) además este estilo de print ha inspirado grandes colecciones esta temporada como la de la casa Gucci puesto que da un efecto muy barroco (una de las fuertes tendencias de la temporada).

Trends: Visit to Grandma

Good morning !I hope that you continue to enjoy your summer because our days are numbered .. I think it's time to go slowly presenting the trends that mark this season Fall / Winter 2012-2013.
¡Buenos días!Espero que sigáis disfrutando de vuestro verano puesto que tenemos los días contados..Creo que es hora de ir presentando poco a poco las tendencias que marcan esta temporada de Otoño/Invierno 2012-2013.

Although the post title "Visit to Grandma" (Let's go to Grandma's house) may sound like mockery or laughter is not malicious at all. Aunque el título de la entrada "Visit to Grandma" (De visita a casa de la abuela) pueda sonar a burla o risa no es mal intencionado para nada. Si hay una firma que ha sido capaz de captar las tendencias de esta nueva temporada cargada de elegancia sofisticación y un guiño vintage al milímetro no es otra que la mundial-mente conocida casa italiana de lujo Dolce & Gabbana.

This time Domenico and Stefano show us a very baroque winter, down to the last detail so as not finishing a dress or a jacket buttons and a belt buckle leave anyone indifferent. En esta ocasión Domenico y Stefano nos presentan un invierno muy barroco , cuidando hasta el último detalle de tal manera que ni el acabado de un vestido , ni los botones de una chaqueta ni la hebilla de un cinturón dejan a nadie indiferente. A pesar de que los colores por excelencia de la colección son el negro y el dorado (muy típico invernal) gracias a la incorporación de geniales estampados llenos de color con motivos florales e incluso religiosos, el resultado son piezas de museo.

El show de esta nueva temporada nos traslada a un escenario con un ambiente cargado , extremadamente elegante y burgués , que desprende altas dosis de riqueza . Todo es muy barroco , se teme a los espacios vacíos , los fondos negros son ocupados por detalles florales y de ángeles lo que para mí da una temática religiosa . Tanto las figuras de ángeles como los detalles florales están presentes en todo tipo de prendas y accesorios en la colección , sin mencionar la bisutería tan especial que nos presentan.

No puedo quitarme de la cabeza la imagen de mi abuela haciendo ganchillo y tejiendo un amoroso jersey de punto de lana al ver muchos de los looks de pasarela.

Como ya sabéis , a nosotros nos gusta hablar tanto de moda masculina como femenina , aunque hasta ahora habíamos dejado la "sección masculina" un poco abandonada. My British Must Have

God! Hello everyone and happy summer! I am quite sure that no longer for any of you remember me (and no wonder) at least I hope ye who has been asked of me, for my absence on this occasion is more than justified.The reason for the complete neglect of the blog on my part is because I've been the last three weeks doing a summer school English in England and honestly I have been virtually impossible to update the blog ....
But as every cloud has a silver lining bring me new and exciting spots and the occasional anecdote.
¡Dios mio!¡ Hola a todo el mundo y feliz verano! Estoy completamente seguro de que ya no os acordáis para nada de mi ( y no me extraña) , espero que al menos os hayáis preguntado que ha sido de mi ; pues en esta ocasión mi ausencia está más que justificada . El motivo de la completa dejadez del blog por mi parte es debido a que he estado estas tres últimas semanas haciendo un curso de verano de inglés en Inglaterra y sinceramente me ha sido prácticamente imposible actualizar el blog....pero como no hay mal que por bien no venga traigo conmigo nuevos y emocionantes spots y alguna que otra anécdota.

(I left really disappointed).

Si bien seguís mi cuenta de Twitter ( @Jorgeinfantees) o la del blog ( @Tqueensalsofart ) seguro que habéis visto algún tweet en el que os mostraba una de las míticas camisetas con una calavera estampada firmada por Alexander McQueen (la he estado buscando todo el verano) , visité el único punto de venta en Madrid que trabaja con Alexander McQueen que es Delitto e Castigo pero para mi desgracia no contaban con ella , también probé en algunas tiendas online como Mr Porter , pero imposible , mi talla ya había volado....mi última esperanza era visitar la tienda de la marca en Londres en la calle Old Bond pero ni con esas...(salí realmente desilusionado).
