MBFW Madrid SS15: Hannibal Laguna

Monday, 15 February. The red carpet was cast for welcome the latest proposals for next spring-summer, by a name that when you say it, this assumes a before and after for the woman listens. It was time to personified glamor, it was time to Hannibal Laguna.
Lunes 15 de Febrero. La alfombra roja estaba echada para recibir a golpe de tacón inquieto, las últimas propuestas para la primavera-verano que viene, de un nombre, que cuando lo pronuncias, supone un antes y un después para la mujer que lo escucha. Era tiempo del glamour personificado, era tiempo de Hannibal Laguna.

Like a garden of delights it were, the best scene was the start of being able to enjoy those seemingly endless yards of shiny fabric, strutting on the catwalk. Because beyond be nice or original, what really fascinates a dress, it's the fall and movement thereof. Red, green, yellow, pink ... There is definitely a Hannibal Laguna for every woman.
Con una selección de colores apetecibles tanto para la vista, como para el paladar, la mujer Laguna se declara con esta colección una enamorada de la primavera, el mundo floral y una romántica exaltada. Como si de un jardín de las delicias se tratase, lo mejor de la puesta de escena fue el hecho de poder disfrutar de esos aparentemente interminables metros de tela reluciente, contoneándose sobre la pasarela. Porque más allá de resultar bonito u original, lo que realmente hechiza de un vestido, es la caída y movimiento del mismo. Rojo, verde, amarillo, rosa... Definitivamente hay un Hannibal Laguna para cada mujer.

MBFW Madrid SS15: Amaya Arzuaga

Sunday, 14 September. It was the most anticipated return. A genuine and enveloping as her own, Amaya Arzuaga returned to the Madrid catwalk the main line belonging to the firm that bears her name. Without a doubt, the best gift the designer could give to the most influential and emblematic week of Spanish fashion.
Domingo 14 de Septiembre. Era el regreso más esperado. Una genuina y envolvente como ella sola, Amaya Arzuaga devolvía a la pasarela madrileña la línea principal perteneciente a la firma que lleva su nombre. Sin lugar a duda, el mejor que regalo que la diseñadora podía hacerle a la semana más emblemática de moda española.

Sunday was increasingly less Sunday as the outstanding Arzuaga´s proposals took the catwalk. For spring-summer, Amaya Arzuaga let seductive waves inspire her and are just themselves responsible for shaping the image and likeness every silhouettes, cuts, shapes and patterns in the collection, a collection which is obvious by its haunting palette, punctuated by the sharp contrast between the used colors, so that the white highlights on the red, blue or black with a very futuristic wink. 
El domingo se hacía menos domingo a medida que las sobresalientes propuestas de Arzuaga tomaban la pasarela. Para la próxima primavera-verano, Amaya Arzuaga deja que las seductoras olas del mar la inspiren, y sean precisamente ellas mismas las encargadas de modelar a su imagen y semejanza cada una de las siluetas, cortes, formas y patrones de la colección, una colección que salta a la vista por su inquietante paleta de colores, marcada por el fuerte contraste entre ellos, de tal manera que el blanco resalta sobre el rojo, azul o negro con un guiño muy futurista.

Ruffles, sinuous openings and asymmetric cuts seem to be the guidelines implemented by the fashion designer, to design a series of dresses, skirts, jackets and tops,  that making the human figure, a modern work of art. 
Volantes, sinuosas aperturas y cortes asimétricos parecen ser las pautas llevadas a cabo por la creadora de moda, para concebir una serie de vestidos, faldas, chaquetas y tops, que hacen de la figura humana, una moderna obra de arte.

Volumetric figures, many of which are structured around the use of zippers as a star elements, redefining, shooting and doing even more fun and contemporary each of the designs. Unquestionable and unmistakably, very Amaya Arzuaga.
Figuras volumétricas, de las cuales muchas se estructuran entorno al uso de cremalleras como elementos estrella, que redefine, remata y hace aún más divertidos y contemporáneos cada uno de los diseños. Indiscutible e inconfundiblemente, muy Amaya Arzuaga.

MBFW Madrid SS15: Ion Fiz

Friday, 12 September. Madrid becomes for a few days in the navel of the world of fashion; the prolific designer Ion Fiz and his last staging host me in this new edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, which this season celebrates its 60th anniversary. Invitation in hand, gave the starting signal for my particular Madrid Fashion Week. 
Viernes 12 de Septiembre. Madrid se convierte durante unos días en el ombligo del mundo de la moda; el prolífico diseñador Ion Fiz y su última puesta en escena me hacían de anfitriones en esta nueva edición de Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, que celebra esta temporada, su 60º aniversario. Invitación en mano, daba el pistoletazo de salida a mi particular Semana de la Moda de Madrid.

Availing only the title of the great work of even greater William Shakespeare, "The Dream of a Summer Night" and not entering its argument; if only we pay attention to as appetizing prayer that these seven words forming together, and we put a little overwhelming imagination, we will see the latest collection of Ion Fiz Spring-Summer 2015, it becomes a kind of material representation of same. 
Valiéndonos únicamente del título de la gran obra, del aún mayor William Shakespeare, "El sueño de una noche de verano", y no entrando en su argumento; si tan sólo prestamos atención a la tan apetecible oración que forman juntas esas siete palabras, y le ponemos un poco de desbordante imaginación, veremos como la última colección de Ion Fiz primavera-verano 2015, se transforma en una una especie de representación material de la misma.

Are as seaworthy palette used, stripes print, fresh and elegant cut of the garments, softness, lightness and neatness of the tissues, the coral motifs and all the meters of white cloth drenched by the dreamlike artwork of artist Gabriel Moreno, the factors that influence my thinking, so this quickly idealizes a scene where raw youth, and the mystery and sophistication of the night, mixed with the charm and movement of the sea breeze when watching the models of Ion Fiz defending their outfits on the catwalk. As I said before, a dream of a summer night. 
Son la tan marinera paleta de colores empleada, las rayas, el fresco y elegante corte de las prendas, la suavidad, ligereza y pulcritud de los tejidos, el motivo de los corales y todos los metros de tela blanca bañada por las oníricas ilustraciones del artista Gabriel Moreno, los factores que condicionan mi pensamiento, para que este rápidamente idealice una escena donde prima la juventud, y el misterio y la sofisticación de la noche, se mezclan con el encanto y el movimiento del mar y su brisa al contemplar a las modelos de Ion Fiz defendiendo sus outfits sobre la pasarela. Como decía antes, todo un sueño de una noche de verano.

The collection, which focuses on flattering and sensual dresses, structured skirts, marked waist silhouettes, and patterns that do justice to both sides of the human anatomy, reflects the sweet and innocent side of Fiz man and woman, a couple destined forever be elegant and refined, more summery dressed than ever this season.
La colección, que apuesta por favorecedores y sensuales vestidos, faldas estructuradas, siluetas marcadas a la cintura, y patrones que hacen justicia a las dos caras de la anatomía humana, refleja el lado más dulce e inocente del hombre y mujer Fiz, una pareja destinada a ser por siempre elegante y refinada, que se viste esta temporada más veraniega que nunca.

The "It" Shoes

The bag signature of time working with the "it" girl of the "it" girls. How did you stay? It sounds really exciting, right? A mix with these ingredients, is mathematically impossible it disappoints. And in fact, the brand established in Florence, Aquazzura, and the new yorker Olivia Palermo, do not do it.
La firma de calzado del momento colaborando con la "it" girl de las "it" girls. ¿Cómo os quedáis? Suena realmente emocionante, ¿verdad? Un mix con tales ingredientes, es matemáticamente imposible que defraude. Y de hecho, la marca establecida en Florencia, Aquazzura, y la neoyorquina Olivia Palermo, no lo hacen.

Their joining forces is summarized in an embodiment of good taste, as being Palermo a woman praised and envied by her personal style, and Aquazzura one of the latest revelations in the world of footwear, no one in their right mind could have generate negative expectations of the collaboration without having seen before the designs that form the collection. And not without saying, that once seen them, and even tested, even less. 
La unión de sus fuerzas, se resume en una materialización del buen gusto, pues siendo Palermo una mujer elogiada y envidiada por su estilo personal, y Aquazzura una de las últimas revelaciones en el mundo del calzado, nadie, en su sano juicio, hubiera podido generar expectativas negativas de la colaboración sin haber visto previamente los diseños que forman la colección. Y no está de más decir, que una vez vistos, e incluso probados , aún menos.

The collection consists of a total of ten different models, within which there are three pairs of sandals, two of which are available in two different colors, two pairs of stilettos and another two of booties also available in two versions with a choice of color, and finally a stunning black knee boots; all "must haves" this season.
La colección consta de un total de diez modelos diferentes, dentro de los cuales encontramos tres pares de sandalias, dos de ellas disponibles en dos colores distintos, unos salones y unos botines también disponibles en dos versiones con color a elegir, y por último, una sensacionales botas mosqueteras negras; todos ellos "must haves" de esta temporada.

All ... All? If you listen and watch carefully each pair, we perceive no model that can not be dismissed as indispensable. On the one hand we have the sandals with bracelet decorated by crystals, which regard as the ideal and perfect "jewel shoe", fine, exquisite and with the use of crystals due to not be an ordinary shoe. But on the other hand, we also stumbled upon these stunning sandals with laces in python, of which I haven´t much more to say, just watch them, I say again, "sensational". And then there are those sophisticated fine heeled boots, returning, and never better said, stomping this season. But if that were not enough, we must not forget those longitudinal suede boots in black, because if you have not heard it, high boots are back, and they do it through the front door. Nor do we forget the silver sandals, which amounts to something like the irresistible and ultra combinable shoe piece, which makes any outfit an elegant look ... And the stilettos? What do you say about the stilettos? Surely more than one toes lover has already given them a fit to see them, either with the in suede one, or the other one in snake skin.
Todos... ¿Todos? Si prestamos atención y observamos cada par con detenimiento, percibiremos que no hay modelo que no pueda tacharse de indispensable. Por un lado tenemos las sandalias con la pulsera decorada por cristales, la cual contemplo como el "zapato joya" ideal, fino, exquisito y con el uso de cristales debido para que no resulte un zapato vulgar. Pero por otro lado, también nos topamos con esas sensacionales sandalias con cordones en pitón, de las que no tengo mucho más que decir, basta con verlas, lo digo una vez más, "sensacionales". Y luego están esos sofisticados botines de tacón fino, que vuelven, y nunca mejor dicho, pisando fuerte esta temporada. Pero por si fuera poco, no tenemos que olvidarnos de esas longitudinales botas de ante en negro, porque si todavía no te has enterado, las botas altas han vuelto, y lo hacen por la puerta grande. Tampoco nos olvidemos de las sandalias plata, que viene a ser algo así como la pieza de calzado irresistible y ultracombinable que hace de cualquier look, un look elegante... ¿Y los salones? ¿Qué me decís de los salones? Seguro que a más de una amante de las punteras ya le ha dado un patatús al verlos, tanto la versión en ante como en piel de serpiente.
