Damien Hirst for The Row , Do or Don´t?

Normally when there is a collaboration between a fashion brand  and another artist the result is hoarding reviews and expectation and even more for a signature is relatively new as The Row (created by the world famous Olsen twins) with an artist of monumental size Damien Hirst.
Normalmente cuando surge una colaboración entre una firma de moda y otro artista el resultado suele acaparar críticas y expectación y más aun tratándose de una firma relativamente nueva como lo es The Row (creada por las conocidas mundialmente Gemelas Olsen) con un artista de la monumental talla de Damien Hirst.

El joven artista británico , el más prominente del grupo llamado "Young British Artists" , es internacionalmente conocido como el artista vivo con la obra mejor pagada. Siendo la muerte el tema central en su obra, ésta siempre ha estado rodeada de gran polémica, más o menos premeditada, y por consiguiente de un gran seguimiento mediático.A tal grado llega la excentricidad de su arte que las autoridades de la ciudad de Nueva York llegaron a negarle el permiso para presentar dos de sus obras llegadas a ser calificadas de obscenas.

Ahora bien , y aún que quizás os pueda pillar por sorpresa , el resultado de la colección no me termina de convencer , es más no lo apruebo , ¿por qué digo eso después de elogiar tanto la colaboración? os preguntareis...en mi opinión se podría haber sacado mucho más provecho a esta unión , pero más que por parte del artista , que sobresale con su trabajo ,muy a mi pesar adjunto la culpa del flojo resultado de la colaboración a The Row , pienso que la marca cuenta con modelos mucho más especiales que hubieran resultado alucinantemente bonitos y especiales con los detalles de Hirst, como acababa de comentar el material de los bolsos es la piel de cocodrilo , famosa por su elevado coste , lo que hace que me parezca que sea un desperdicio de la misma dando lugar como resultado final a una "mochila de diseño"; sinceramente a pesar de que el diseño del bolso no me disgusta y que tiene que resultar muy práctico no le veo "glamuroso" , hubieran sacado mucho más partido al potencial de Damien Hirst utilizando otros de los magníficos bolsos de The Row, no soy de los que recomendaría a una mujer utilizar un bolso con forma de mochila y mucho menos invertir en este que además de su precio apto para pocos bolsillos, la belleza de la unión entre The Row y Hirst no luciría tanto llevándole a la espalda..

Yet suppose that the collection is a bestseller because these bags will be taken as authentic collector's items ...

A pesar de todo supongo que la colección sea un éxito en ventas ya que se tomará a estos bolsos como auténticas piezas de coleccionista...
