R.I.P. Loewe

I will not fool myself by saying that the work of JW Anderson for Loewe is harmful or that his divine intervention has done nothing to bring the Spanish firm on everyone's lips; I will not act like I am crazy and deny that Loewe needed a boost of this magnitude, and above all, I will not lie to you and I will say that I have not seen any of its new era that has me excited.
No voy a engañarme a mí mismo diciendo que el trabajo de J.W. Anderson para Loewe es nefasto, o que su divina intervención no ha hecho nada para poner a la firma española en boca de todos; no voy a hacerme el sueco que decimos aquí, y negar que Loewe necesitaba un empujón de tal calibre, y sobre todo, no voy a mentiros ni os voy a decir que aún no he visto nada de su nueva era que me haya entusiasmado.

Na-da, ni toda la preciosa iluminación navideña del barrio de Salamanca podría avivar el espíritu de las icónicas ventanas de las tiendas de la marca.

Y Loewe, desengáñate, porque como tus clientes y amantes de toda la vida te han querido (por los que ha prevalecido la casa), nadie te querrá.
