MBFW Madrid FW14-15: Miguel Alex

I always had a horrible fear of new designers, such those that to innovate, to be different and to be faithful to such a trend of seeking new materials with which to create fashion, completely forget that fashion is not a any art , and should find that meeting point between the message they want to convey with their clothes or aesthetics and beauty and attraction, that attraction which we sometimes reject even comfort in that favored or feel more identified with our clothes.
Siempre he tenido un miedo horrible a los nuevos diseñadores, esos que por tal de innovar, ser diferentes, y ser fieles a esa tendencia tan actual de buscar nuevos materiales con los que crear moda, se olvidan por completo de que la moda no es un arte cualquiera, y  que deberían buscar ese punto de encuentro entre el mensaje que quieres transmitir con tus prendas o estética y la belleza y la atracción, esa atracción por la que a veces rechazamos incluso la comodidad por el hecho de sentirnos más favorecidos o identificados con nuestra ropa.

For this reason, when after the title of " promising young design," I meet a fashion designer , a true fashion designer , able to innovate and convey a message to the couple to create something visually attractive and sexy, I see really necessary to publicize his work.

Por eso mismo, cuando tras el título de "joven promesa del diseño", encuentro a un creador de moda, de los de verdad, capaz de innovar y transmitir un mensaje a la par de crear algo visualmente vistoso y atractivo, veo realmente necesario dar a conocer su trabajo.

As is the case for Miguel Alex , making use of known techniques such as patchwork , create complete looks marked by alternating materials, fabrics and textures , which led by straight cuts and silhouettes, almost minimalist , gives rise to its own basics such as jersey or jacket, must -haves in the wardrobe of a woman according to the avant-garde aesthetic of the designer.

Como es el caso de Miguel Alex, que haciendo uso de conocidas técnicas como el patchwork, crea looks completos marcados por la alternancia de materiales, tejidos y texturas, que conducidos por cortes y siluetas rectas, prácticamente minimalistas, da a lugar a sus propios básicos, como el jersey o la chaqueta que no deben de faltar en el armario de una mujer de acuerdo con la estética vanguardista del diseñador.

Combining the sensuality of transparencies , flan metallic winks and austerity wool effect , Miguel Alex proposes a woman dressed though functionally , it does feel feminine and elegant in no time. Apart from this , Alex Michael is awarded the fact of having created "the bag that everyone wants", a great handbag in XXL size, covered with a multicolor plastic material, which more than one a sighed for during the show, being primarily a "must have" addition to give the chic and explosive touch to the muted colors palette of the garments.

Combinando la sensualidad de las transparencias, el efecto flan de los guiños metalizados y la austeridad de la lana, Miguel Alex propone una mujer que a pesar de vestirse de forma funcional, no deja de sentirse en ningún momento femenina y elegante. A parte de ello, a Miguel Alex se le adjudica el hecho de haber creado "el bolso que todos quieren", un genial bolso de mano en tamaño XXL, cubierto de un material plástico en multicolor, por el que más de uno suspiramos durante el show, siendo todo un "must have" además de dar el toque chic y explosivo a la apagada gama de colores de las prendas.
